SenseIT is now arca.ai.
After eight years as SenseIT, we are arca.ai. The work is the same. The name, the wordmark, and the platform we are building are new.
Eight years ago we started SenseIT to do one job well: help enterprise teams pass an accessibility audit that had become a gate on every procurement deal. We built CATS, we wrote a lot of playbooks, we audited a lot of products, and we learned the shape of the problem from the inside.
Accessibility has changed underneath us. The deadlines are shorter. The standards are harder. The teams doing the work are smaller. The tools have gotten better at finding issues and worse at telling you what to do about them. A scanner report with five hundred violations is not a plan. It is a backlog nobody will touch.
What enterprise teams actually need is a system that understands the product, understands the standard, and closes the loop between them — on a cycle, with governance, with evidence. That is what we have been quietly building for the last eighteen months, and it does not fit under the SenseIT name anymore.
Why arca.ai
An arca is a vessel — something that carries what matters across a long distance. For us, the thing being carried is accessibility itself: across teams, across release cycles, across the years a product actually lives. The name is short. It works in every language we ship in. It belongs to the platform, not to any single product inside it.
The logo is the one you already know. The arch over a dot reads as an eye head-on, an ear on its side, and a button for the hand that presses it. It is the same mark we have used since 2019, redrawn for the new wordmark.
What is changing
- The name on everything. SenseIT → arca.ai. sense-it.io → getarca.ai. hello@sense-it.io → hello@getarca.ai. Old addresses will forward for twelve months.
- The products have names now. What was "the CATS scanner" is Rover508. The agent work is Mission508. Remediation documentation is Station508. Monitoring is Sentinel508. They run together as one platform and share one data graph.
- The thesis is explicit. Accessibility work is continuous, not a project. The platform reflects that: every product is designed to sit in a cycle, not a sprint.
What is not changing
The team is the same. The customers are the same. The contracts are the same — your MSA transfers automatically, no paperwork required. The people who have been doing this work for eight years are the same people answering your emails today, on the same phone numbers, from the same desks.
We will keep publishing here, on the same schedule, with the same tone. The blog archive is intact and the old posts still link correctly. Nothing you have bookmarked breaks.
